We’re delighted to announce we are the headline sponsor for the 2018 Bristol Grand Prix, coming to the city this July.
On Sunday 8th July, the HSBC UK | GP Series is bringing professional cycling to heart of Bristol. The 2016 and 2017 events helped establish the Bristol Grand Prix as a fixture in the national race calendar, with high-quality circuit cycle racing enjoyed by over 20,000 spectators.
Lobster Pictures is sponsoring the Men's Elite Race bringing some of the UK and Europe’s best domestic professional teams. To race at this level requires either a full time riding contract or a part time job, there’s no time for anything else except cycling. Teams will lay everything on the line to take the win - it's going to be a brilliant watch.
M.D. Robbie Allen said, "We're delighted to be the headline sponsor. Bristol is a great cycling city and we can't wait to see the centre transformed into a race track for the day. It's fantastic to be part of the event."
The race is to be held on a new extended circuit, covering a large part of the city centre, giving spectators lots opportunities to enjoy the race from iconic locations across the city. The route takes the riders right past our office on Queen Square - it will certainly be a challenge to navigate the cobbles!

We have many keen cyclists in our ranks here at Lobster Pictures - and a number of us cycle to work each day - so it means a lot to us that we're able to be a big part of such a great event in our home city, and we're proud to be championing a form of exercise that can genuinely change lives.
Look out for us on the day, and do come and say hi.
See you on July 8th!
The Bristol Grand Prix works with local businesses and suppliers to ensure that, through local sourcing and contractors, the environmental impact of the race is kept as low as possible. Racers are encouraged to car-share and spectators are able to cycle to the event and use the bike park provided.
